Age spots

Age-spots or lentigines are light to dark brown spots on skin regions that were/are  frequently exposed to sunlight: face, neck, decollete, hands, arms, lower legs etc. and somtimes are aestetically annoying. Before removal they should be checked by a dermatologist to prevent you from potential harm by lasertreating a maybe mutated mole. Depending on the part of the body, different treatment options are possible:

Chemical Peels – especially designed caustic acids are used to get rid of spots and warts of age. Sometimes they need a few treatments. After a few days the old part peels off and a new skin arises.

Electrodesiccation – pulsed currency or heat destroy spots and warts, wipe them off ...healing takes just a few days...

Bleaching: Special cremes are able to remove color from skin due to the fact that some chemicalshinder our cells to build new melanin. After a few weeks to months spots start to disappear. Bleaching cremes are sometimes necessary to keep up results (e.g. melasma, hormonal dicoloration etc.)
